2021 Rosé Vintage Notes
The 2021 Vintage had wonderful warm and mild weather during flowering and bloom leading to above average yields and good fruit cluster uniformity. The 2021 harvest was very long with fruit coming in over a two month period. The 2021 Rosé is a blend of 70% fruit from our Estate Pinot Noir vineyard and 30% Grenache from Tre Patti vineyard in Southern Monterey County. Similar to our estate soil, the Tre Gatti vineyard has an amazing soil of ancient seabed chalk rock.
The 2021 Rosé has fresh strawberry, pomegranate and citrus aromas alongside flowers and a mineral lift alongside bright and focused flavors of tart strawberry, raspberry and cranberry with a balanced mid pallet from the fresh acidity.
Food Pairing Suggestions
This wine pairs well with a nice platter of Cheese and Charcuterie or a fruit inspired summer salad with grilled fish. Chicken or a Niçoise salad would also be an excellent accompaniment with a glass of our Rosé.
