The 2021 Vintage had wonderful warm and mild weather during flowering and bloom leading to above average yields and good fruit cluster uniformity. The 2021 Cuve´e Owen Pinot Noir is a blend of 100% Pommard Clone fruit grown from two distinct blocks at our estate vineyard. This Pinot Noir is aged exclusively in zero percent new French oak with 1-5 year old barrels aging the wine for 10 months. This bright and earthy Pinot Noir showcases the unique soil and coastal climate as it highlights aromatics and flavors of cranberry, pomegranate, rhubarb and clove alongside a lingering wet stone minerality.
